KRYTERION Selected as Online Secured Test Delivery System for Carnegie Mellon(R) Software Engineering Institute Personal Software Process (PSP) Developer Certification

KRYTERION Webassessor(TM) to enrich existing PSP certification by adding new levels of security, flexibility and access via the Drake Authorized Testing Center (DATC) network.

PHOENIX, AZ, - April 1, 2006 - KRYTERION, Inc., today announced a joint effort to deploy the Carnegie Mellon(R) Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Personal Software Process(SM) Developer certification through Webassessor, combining the benefits of online secured test delivery for the certification Test Taker with state-of-the-art program management.

The uniqueness of KRYTERION's High-stakes, online secured testing solutions stem from the individual strengths of its founders. Caveon, the market-leader in test security, brings leading-edge test security technologies. Drake International, who founded Drake Prometric, the first computer-based testing company in the IT industry, adds a long history of test delivery and a legacy of testing innovations. Based in the Netherlands, Cito, provides a wealth of online testing deployment technologies and a valuable global perspective.

"KRYTERION created the testing solution we've been looking for," commented Jefferson Welch, SEI Certification Manager. "We were interested in using Webassessor to deliver our tests through the DATC network from the start. As we began to work with the KRYTERION team, we were very pleased to discover a commitment to customer service and a wealth of industry experience that made KRYTERION more than a technology-based solution," added Welch.

The Webassessor Solution
Delivered through a global network of Drake Authorized Testing Centers (DATCs), Webassessor is a complete testing tool for all administrators, Test Takers and end-users. Through a powerful, highly secure and easy-to-use interface, Webassessor allows certification managers to take control of their certification programs. For example, Webassessor managers can enhance the security of their online tests with the exclusive use of Caveon Real Time Data Forensic(TM) technology. In addition, managers can make real-time updates to test items and test forms without incurring additional fees, deliver tests in multiple formats whether proctored or not, access their test and program data anywhere, anytime and create robust reports for detailed analysis.

The PSP Certification Program:
A PSP Developer is an individual who possesses the knowledge and skills required to competently deliver quality software on predictable schedules. Test Takers should be able to measure and track size, time, and defect data, estimate and plan their work, and manage the quality of the products they produce using PSP methodologies.

The SEI's newest certification - SEI-Certified PSP Developer - requires Test Takers to pass an examination based on the PSP Body of Knowledge. Test Takers who pass the exam become SEI-Certified PSP Developers and are required to meet ongoing professional development requirements to maintain their certification.

The certification is based on the guiding principles of the PSP itself and developed in accordance with the testing guidelines set forth by the American Educational Research Association, the American Psychological Association, and the National Council on Measurement in Education.

Test Takers will be able to register as early as May 5, 2006. For additional information go to www.sei.cmu.edu.

"The PSP certification program is a leader in its field," said Quinn Sutton responsible for marketing at KRYTERION. "Combining it with Webassessor, the leading online secured testing system, and deploying the exam through the DATC network will set a new standard of excellence for the industry."
