NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MORTGAGE BROKERS PARTNERS WITH KRYTERION TO DEVELOP AND DELIVER NEW CERTIFICATION EXAM
General Mortgage Associate (GMA) designation exam to be delivered via KRYTERION Webassessor(TM), providing nationwide online testing access to mortgage professionals new to industry.
Phoenix, AZ - August 29, 2006 - KRYTERION, Inc., announced today their partnership with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers to develop a standardized examination for a new professional designation, the General Mortgage Associate (GMA). This designation will be awarded to newer mortgage brokers and loan officers who can demonstrate their ability to provide top quality service and knowledge of the latest products and mortgage industry trends, and can pass the examination. The GMA examination will be offered via KRYTERION's online, secured test deployment system - Webassessor.

A large-scale pilot test of the GMA examination using KRYTERION's Webassessor will take place in September 2006. The examination will test the applicants' knowledge of ethics, rules and regulations of the mortgage industry; the roles and organizations involved in the industry; and the types of products and services offered.

NAMB Certification
The National Association of Mortgage Brokers is committed to promoting the highest degree of professionalism for its members and providing ethical and professional standards against which mortgage brokers can be measured. The GMA certification will be the basic national credential for residential mortgage professionals with 0-2 years experience.
NAMB also offers a rigorous certification program to recognize more experienced brokers who have attained the highest levels of knowledge and expertise. Developed through extensive research by mortgage industry experts, the CRMS and CMC designations are gained only once a Test Taker has met certain requirements of experience and knowledge in the practice of mortgage brokering and has passed a written examination.
The Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) designation is bestowed upon mortgage professionals with a minimum of two years experience who meet rigorous educational requirements and successfully pass the CRMS examination. The Certified Mortgage Consultant (CMC) designation is the highest designation bestowed in the industry, and is awarded to professionals with a minimum of 5 years experience who meet stringent educational requirements, and successfully pass the CMC examination.
