AMERICAN INDOOR AIR QUALITY COUNCIL SELECTS KRYTERION TO CONVERT PAPER-BASED CERTIFICATION EXAMS FOR ONLINE DELIVERY.

American Indoor Quality Council to deploy exams via KRYTERION Webassessor(TM), adding new levels of program quality, control and security to recently enhanced certification program.

Phoenix, AZ - June 14, 2006 - KRYTERION, Inc., announced today a definitive agreement with the American Indoor Air Quality Council to provide online testing services via its online secured testing system - Webassessor.

The IAQ Council joined forces in January 2006 with two other IAQ associations - the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and Indoor Environmental Standards Organization (IESO). The Council assumed responsibility for the certification activities of all three organizations and now administers nine indoor air quality certification programs across North America.

In pursuit of higher standards for IAQ certifications, the Council sought a way to provide efficient, secure exam delivery on a continual basis in every major city without having to rely on training providers or proctors. In addition, the ability to modify examination content as the IAQ field changed and track these changes efficiently in its databases became a driving program need.

The Council also needed automated exam delivery, scoring and score reporting to reduce the workload on its staff.

"The IAQ Council provides the finest certifications in our field," commented Adam Andrews, Assistant Director for the IAQ Council. "Now our examination procedures match that high level of quality. We couldn't be happier."

The Webassessor Solution

Webassessor is a complete testing tool for all administrators, Test Takers and end-users. Through a powerful, highly secure and easy-to-use interface, Webassessor allows users to take control of their testing and certification programs. For example, Webassessor administrators can enhance the security of their online tests with the exclusive use of Caveon Real Time Data Forensic(TM) technology. In addition, administrators can manage and make real-time updates to test items and test forms without incurring additional fees, deliver tests in multiple formats whether proctored or not, access their tests and program data anywhere, anytime and create robust reports for detailed analysis.

A particular benefit of the Webassessor solution is its ability to provide access to short tests and certification renewal exams from the convenience of a test taker's home. "Thanks to KRYTERION, we are now able to offer our certificate holders a convenient way to earn certification renewal credits as they stay abreast of changes in the IAQ field," added Andrews.

"The IAQ Council is a forward thinking organization," said Gary Clark, Director of North American Sales for KRYTERION. "The move from paper-based testing to digital testing is a big step for many organizations. By using Webassessor, they are able to enrich the quality of their certification programs while maintaining control and extending their reach to their target Test Takers."

All IAQ Council certification exams will be delivered online via Webassessor starting July 1, 2006.
