STEP 4: ONLINE PROCTORING

Once the required biometric information is compared against the test taker account and authenticated, the test taker is allowed to launch the test. With each active test session the Online Proctor has a wide variety of tools at their command. Each testing session is actively monitored by trained observers to scan for visual anomalies. If an aberrant behavior is detected the case is escalated to an Online Proctor. In additional to continuous visual and audio scanning, Webassessor Sentinel Security Shield is constantly monitoring test taker scanning for anomalous actions. Once an aberrant behavior is detected either by the human observer or by one of the variety of automated Sentinel security scans, a flag is generated in the system allowing the Online Proctor to investigate and take appropriate action in accordance with your business rules.

Through this combination of human oversight and sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology you can extend the reach of your secure test delivery to where your test takers live, learn and work.

  • Step 1 - Account Creation: Either you or the student creates the test account with fully customizable data fields based on the information you would like to capture. More . . .

  • Step 2 - Test Registration & Scheduling: After the account is created, an automated E-mail is sent to the student with username and password information. With that information, the student can enter the system and register for a test and schedule a time to take it. More . . .

  • Step 3 - Biometric Enrollment & Authentication: Based on the rigors of your test requirements, your test takers attach their biometric information to the test account. When they launch their tests, their recorded biometric information is compared to the person launched the test. More . . .
